It is not a replacement for the 1:1 relationship of working with a Physical Therapist
However, for those who are not able to find success with a traditional PT, it can be a great place to start. 
The knowledge contained in this program can be a valuable place for you or someone you love get the support they need to begin the process of building strength and confidence.

Nope! But it might be a good idea for them to know you are trying a new exercise program. Nothing in this program is inherently harmful. 

No. There are props mentioned in the program to add to the experience but they are not necessary.  Most people who have done PT may have resistance bands.  There are options for dumbbells (5-12 lbs) but body weight is fine too!

This program is designed for those with Joint Hypermobility Syndromes, either EDS or HSD.  If you are unsure if you have one of these issues and are not diagnosed, it is OK!  

This program includes flare up options and can help you get through it.  It is yours for life and you can always pause and get back in when you're ready.

This program is designed to be a foundational course in the practice of Pilates concepts.  Pilates can be progressed or regessed to meet your needs.  It will make your other fitness endeavors more enjoyable becasue of your strong foundation. 

As a Physical Therapist, Pilates instructor and hypermobile human, I know the difficulties of trying to get stronger and avoid injury. I work with patients with EDS and hypermobility every day. I understand the struggle, the frustration and the nature of the journey to building your body up. I recognize the gap in the medical system and seek to help fill that gap with this program. I want you to feel capable and confident as you move through life with joint hypermobility.
